Our Beginnings
Three Shores Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) was formalized in 2010 with the first round of formal partners signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU expresses support for regional cooperation on education and proper management efforts of invasive species throughout Chippewa, Luce, and Mackinac Counties. The MOU makes participants more active in the group as a voting member and helps direct activities.
